北京時間7月30日消息，北控男籃在奧體中心召開媒體見面會正式介紹馬佈裡的加盟，馬佈裡發表長文感謝北控給他能在北京打球的機會，運動事業將會在最愛的城市北京畫上句號；感謝球迷的歡呼和噓聲。
馬佈裡長文如下：
Good afternoon to the leaders my coaches, teammates, distinguish guest in the press. 3:33 as we said. Creating positive energy from the start in the mind with the time.
尊敬的俱樂部和贊助商領導，主教練、我的隊友以及到場的嘉賓們大傢下午好。就像剛剛所說的，從下午的3:33分開始，我們來一起創新一些積極的能量。
I would like to first thank God for another blessing received by Beikong for keeping me home. I'm forever thankful to Mr Lichunli and the GM Lvjinqing for giving me a chance to compete as a 40 year old veteran in the city I love.
首先我想感謝上帝讓我有機會留在傢中，感謝北控給我這個機會，我非常感謝李春利先生和總經理呂錦清先生給我這個40歲的老兵繼續在我所愛城市打球的機會。
I will fight with everything I have inside of me it's my nature. I will do my best to lead the team through all of the challenges along with helping each player get better and grow for the future.
我將傾盡我體內的一切去戰鬥，因為這就是我的本性。我將會盡全力去帶領我的球隊去克服一切困難以及幫助每一位隊員去提升和成長。
I'm excited for the season as this is my last season. Wow I can't believe 21 years of professional basketball is coming to an end. More than half my life will end in my beloved city BEIJING.
我對這個新賽季真的充滿期待因為這也將會是我人生最後一個賽季。噢、我真不敢相信21年的職業生涯終於要來到結束的一天。這陪伴瞭我大半生的運動事業將會在我最愛的城市北京拉上句號。
How amazing is that?
這實在是太美妙瞭。
I feel so blessed and honored to play before the people who empowered me every time a basket was scored by screaming Mabuli MVP. It's impossible to leave this type of energy.
每當我在比賽裡得分的時候我都會聽到從觀眾席傳來的”馬佈裡MVP”的歡呼聲，此刻我感到非常的幸福和榮幸，也就是因為這種能量讓我從此離開不瞭這座城市。
In closing I want to thank every fan of the CBA for becoming a fan of the CBA. I want to thank you for your cheers and even the boos (smile) they were just as empowering as it made me play harder. I hope next season we can make the Olympic arena a destination for fans to see some amazing basketball and of course my final games as a player. I love you with my heart my spirit in my soul BEIJING for giving me the positive energy to be whatever I can be.
在結尾的時候我想感謝每一位成為瞭CBA粉絲的球迷，我想感謝你們的歡呼聲和噓聲（微笑），給我能量讓我更努力的去比賽。我希望下賽季在奧體中心我們能帶給球迷們更精彩的比賽。這將是我以籃球運動員身份參加的最後一個賽季的比賽。我感謝北京這座城市給予我能量讓我可以留在我想留的地方，我的心、精神和靈魂都愛你們。
